T-ara’s Hyomin transforms into a war correspondent

T-ara‘s Hyomin revealed a picture of herself transformed into a war journalist.

With Hyomin and Eunjung‘s trip to Europe fast approaching on April 10th, they held a 2-day meeting with 70 overnight staff members about the 8 night-9 day project. The music video and photo book project is being created for an upcoming 7-member girl group. A picture taken by photographer Jo Se Hyun of Hyomin during the meeting has gathered a lot of attention. Apparently, Hyomin herself edited the photo, changing herself into a uniformed war journalist with a giant military camera.

Hyomin revealed her thoughts on the trip: “With the transformation into a war correspondent in this picture, I will approach the Europe project with the same mindset as a war reporter.”

T-ara and the new 7-member rookie group that will accompany them will travel abroad to Italy on April 10th. T-ara has also been attracting a lot of buzz as they’ve reportedly purchased insurance equivalent to $10 million in case something were to happen during the trip in Europe.

Jiyeon’s Photo Makes Her Everyday Life Look Like a Photo Shoot

On March 29, T-ara’s Jiyeon revealed a picture through her twitter that looks like a great editorial photograph you would see in a magazine. Along with the picture, she wrote, “Socks are so big. Today’s weather is really nice too.”

In the background of the picture, there is a white wall with a window that looks out into the green trees. Something about it makes it feel romantic and dreamy. There are three chairs all in a row with Jiyeon sitting on the middle one, like a doll. She is looking extra cute gazing down with her hair in pigtails tied with different color hair ties. With her head down and wearing a pajama-like cape with a star on it, she looks like she is at a photo shoot. Also, the big socks she mentioned have adorable bear faces at the cuff, which shows off her unique fashion sense.

Netizens who saw this photo said, “So cute,” “Even though I can’t see your face, you’re so pretty. The place has a nice atmosphere,” “The picture is lovely. Jiyeon is lovely. Everything is so pretty,” “I want to see your face.”

T-ara’s Hyomin to participate in an upcoming photo project for the debut of a new girl group

T-ara member Hyomin will be participating in a ’1 billion Won photo project’ for photographer Cho Sae Hyun.

Hyomin recently agreed to join Cho Sae Hyun’s photo project, and thus will be touring Italy, Switzerland and Austria.

Hyomin loves taking pictures so when she joined this project it’s said that she could not hold in her enthusiasm.

The entire photo project will be held overseas, and will be a photoshoot that will be used as a teaser for the debut album of a new seven member girl group under the same label as actors Hwang Ji Hyun, Choi Soo Eun, and Lee Hye In.

In related news, T-ara is currently planning to hold a large scale fan club inauguration this Summer, as well as planning for their new album.

T-ara’s guerrilla event in Tokyo suspended after 5 minutes

On March 1st, South Korean 7-member girl group T-ara surprised people in front of Shibuya 109 in Tokyo with a little guerrilla performance.

The event was organized by fashion brand ‘moussy‘ in order to celebrate the completed renovation of their Shibuya 109 store.

T-ara was supposed to hold a 30-minute mini concert at the event, but the organizers were surprised by the large number of fans who heard the news and spectators who gathered in front of the stage. After just five minutes into the event, more than 500 people gathered in front of the stage, which made it too dangerous for them to continue and forced the organizers to suspend the event.

The members were really sorry that they were only able to perform one song, “Roly-Poly“. They bowed to the spectators before leaving the stage and thanked them for coming.

The year before last, fellow South Korean girl group KARA also held a guerrilla concert in front of Shibuya 109, which had to be suspended after just three minutes as well.
