Ha Ji Won chooses kiss scene with Lee Seung Gi as the most memorable


Actress Ha Ji Won confessed that her refrigerator kiss scene with Lee Seung Gi still lingers in her memory.

The cast members of the film ‘Korea‘ guest-featured on the April 19th broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Happy Together 3‘, with the exception of Ha Ji Won who had a busy filming schedule.

However, Ha Ji Won completed her drama shoot and made an abrupt appearance on the show, surprising the other guests and MCs.

During the recording, Ha Ji Won was asked to choose her favorite actor amongst the many she had worked with throughout her career. Ha Ji Won chose Lee Seung Gi, with whom she is currently shooting ‘The King 2 Hearts‘, gathering much interest from the viewers and those around her.

In addition, Ha Ji Won admitted that the refrigerator kiss scene that she filmed with Lee Seung Gi as the most memorable kiss scene, drawing envy from the other female guests on the program.

Meanwhile, along with Ha Ji Won, directors Hyun Jung Hwa and Yoo Nam Gyu, actors Park Chul Min and Lee Jong Suk, and actress Choi Yoon Young also guested on this episode of ‘Happy Together 3′.

TAHITI’s Jisoo is the ‘second Han Ga In’?


Rookie girl group TAHITI‘s Jisoo has been gaining attention for being the “second Han Ga In“.

The group debuted through their reality show ‘Ta-dah! It’s TAHITI’on April 14th and even before their debut, they have been gaining attention for being a new kind of visual group.

With her large eyes and straight nose, she was already famous in her hometown of Chuncheon, Kangwon Province where she was known by the nickname, “Chuncheon’s Han Ga In”.

TAHITI’s agency DS Entertainment commented, “In elementary school, middle school, and high school, Jisoo was not only known for singing and dancing, but she was also well-known to be athletic enough to be on the track and field team.

Netizens commented on Jisoo’s beauty saying, “‘The second Han Ga In’ Jisoo is so pretty“, “The birth of a new visual in TAHITI“, “I can’t for this week’s broadcast of ‘Ta-dah! It’s TAHITI‘”.

TAHITI will be releasing their album this June. Their reality show ‘Ta-dah! It’s TAHITI’ will run for ten weeks as the program covers the girls preparing for their official debut.

April 21st’s episode of ‘Ta-dah! It’s TAHITI’ will reveal the exciting story behind how member Ari first met actor Lee Gyu Hwa when she jumped in front of his car.

TVXQ’s Changmin voted as the most charismatic boy group ‘maknae’


Netizens recently cast their votes for their favorite boy group maknae whose charismatic charms could even triumph the fellow hyungs in the group.

From April 11th to the 17th, portal site DC Inside held a poll titled ‘Maknae On Top’, asking netizens, ‘the boy group maknae who overpowers his hyungs with his charisma?’.

TVXQ‘s Changmin won by a landslide, as 13,485 of 20,344 (66.3%) netizens cast their votes for the singer who possesses tall height, polite manners, mature and eloquent speech, and more.

JYJ‘s Junsu came in second with 3,200 (15.7%) of the votes, thanks to his deep and husky vocals, as well as his strong stage presence when performing in his musicals ‘Mozart‘, ‘Elisabeth‘, and more.

2AM’s Jo Kwon reaffirms his “adult” mouse pad was a gift he received in Japan


2AM‘s Jo Kwon reassured his fans that his famous “adult” mouse pad was given to him as a gift.

On the April 18th episode of SBS‘s ‘One Night of TV Entertainment‘, Jo Kwon was questioned by his other members during the ‘Fast Ball Interview’ corner.

Your adult mouse pad has become a hot topic of conversation,” his members said. “Can you reveal where the item come from?”

Ahead of their questioning, Jo Kwon’s room was revealed on a previous episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Star Life Theater‘.

His ‘adult’ mouse pad and racy desktop background immediately caused spark amongst netizens online.

It’s a gift I received when I was in Japan,” Jo Kwon explained. “One store was even using my image to help sell the items.”

Fellow member Jinwoon then added, “I saw that place too. They wrote, ‘Even Jo Kwon uses it!’,” which caused everyone to laugh hysterically.

Girls’ Generation voted as most popular female artist for the first half of 2012


Girls’ Generation has been voted as the most popular female artist for the first half of 2012.

According to the ‘Celebrity Popularity Survey – First Half of 2012‘ conducted by Lees PR, Girls’ Generation earned 26.9% of all votes under the female artist category, triumphing singer Park Jung Hyun who earned the spot last year after featuring on ‘I Am a Singer‘.

Singer IU who released her second full-length album ‘Last Fantasy‘ this past November seized the #2 spot with 15.3% of the votes, followed by Wonder Girls (7.3%), Lee Hyori (7.1%), Baek Ji Young (6.5%), miss A (6.2%), and more.

Idol group Big Bang who are actively standing on stages not only in Korea but also in Japan, the US, and more seized the #1 spot under the most popular male artist category with 18.1% of the votes. Singer Lee Seung Gi came in at #2 with 11.3% of the votes, followed by 2PM (8.1%), Rain (6.9%), and 2AM (5.7%), while legendary idol group Shinhwa who made a comeback for the first time in 4 years with their 10th album ‘The Return‘ last month came in at #10.

Won Bin proved to be the most popular male actor with 16.3% of all votes, and following closely behind him was actor Kim Soohyun with 16.0% of all votes. Behind them were actors Jang Dong Gun (9.2%), Hyun Bin (7.8%), Lee Seung Gi (6.5%), and Kang Dong Won (5.6%).

Kim Tae Hee was voted as the most popular female actress despite not taking on any recent roles in Korea, while Han Ga In came in at #2 with 16.9% of the votes. Trailing behind them were Ha Ji Won (12.6%), Shin Min Ah (6.8%), and Song Hye Kyo (6.6%).

Yoo Jae Suk and Shin Bong Sun were selected as the most popular comedians, while Park Ji Sung and Kim Yun Ah were selected as the most popular athletes.

Will “Oh! My God” be another Girl’s Day hit? + ‘Everyday 2′ track details

After a long eight-month hiatus, Girl’s Day is getting ready for a cute, sexy comeback with “Oh! My God“.

On April 18th, the girls released their second mini-album, ‘Everyday 2, featuring a total of four tracks, three of which are new. Their title track “Oh! My God” was produced by the hit-making combo, composer Kang Ji Won and Kim Ki Bum, and is described as a dance track with electronic elements.

The group’s new ballad track, “Two of Us“, was considered for their title track as it features dynamic sounds with a combination of string instruments. The ballad was produced by composers Kim Doo Hyun and Kim Won Hyun.

Telepathy” was personally written and composed by Girl’s Day member Sojin, and tells a story about a girl confessing her feelings to her crush through telepathic means.

The members of Girl’s Day expressed, “We’re excited but also nervous about starting our promotions again after such a long time away. It feels like we’re debuting all over again. The longer our hiatus became, the more we wanted to get back on stage.”

“Oh! My God” ranked 1st on Cyworld Music, 3rd on Melon, 2nd on Soribada, and 3rd on Bugs after its release.

Girl’s Day will be holding their mini-album release showcase later today at the CGV M Cube to officially kick off promotions.

When Will Ha Ji Won’s Muscles Get to Rest?

On April 16 Ha Ji Won appeared at a screening of “Korea” which will release on May 3. She talked about the rigorous preparations she went through for “Korea.” She stated, “People expected that I would be able to learn table tennis within a day. That is why I started with so much pressure. However, I was the worst at swinging and kept making mistakes.”

Ha Ji Won added, “I think it is a miracle that I was able to finish filming this movie.”

As we reported earlier, Ha Ji Won actually learned how to play table tennis from the gold medalist that she will portray, Hyun Jung Hwa. If you look at Ha Ji Won’s track record, she had a diverse amount of intense roles. For “Sector 7” she got a diving license and motorcycle license. For “Secret Garden” she did action scenes because of her role as a stunt woman. Also for the current drama “The King 2hearts” she continues to do action scenes.

Ha Ji Won stated, “Sports is a lot more difficult than action. However, through this experience my prior thoughts of ‘There are some things that I can’t do’ changed to, ‘There is nothing that you can’t do.’”
